Not long time ago, The graphics cards brand Tiger was renamed G-Empire.The new brand G-Empire inherited the Tighers good tradition, not only retains the excellent design work and will continue to provide consumers with richer features and services.Recently, G-Empire just released a high-end non-reference graphics card G-Empire GTX480-SV. This is the fist product of G-Empire
The cooling adopt Swiss famous manufacturer Arctic Coolings Accelero Xtreme Plus.The Accelero Xtreme Plus adopt 5 heat pipe + 3 ultra-quiet PWM fan,And the heat sink seems very huge.Because these is no experimental data, So i checked data of similar product.With the similar design,The cooling can reduce the core temperature about 20 degrees Celsius under full load!
It is worth mentioning that Accelero Xtreme Plusis the latest product of AC.The first show was at COMPUTEX2010,And G-Empire GTX480-SV will be the first graphics card with the cooling.
The graphics card adopt good materials.The Capacitor come from the U.S. Defense Departments supplier KEMETs top tantalum capacitors and there totally has 43 tantalum capacitors.Among them, there are 21 KEMET T491 16V 100uf capacitor and 22 tantalum capacitors which use KEMET T520 2.5V 330uf.This will insure high reliability and long life of product.
The core of G-Empire GTX480-SV GF100-375-A3 base TSMC 40nm process, it has 3.2 billion transistors, is the largest graphics processing core now.The GF100 for GeForce GTX 480 has 480 stream processors, 60 texture units,48 ROPs and 384bit memory controller.Support DirectX11 and Shader Model 5.0,support CUDA and NVIDIA PhysX.
Than reference graphics card default core frequency is only 700MHz,But G-Empire GTX480-SV is 850MHz!The reason of why can upgraded to such high frequency mainly due to strong core power supply.G-Empire use 8-phase power supply here.Adequate power supply can provide enough energy, So we can see the high frequency here.
G-Empire GTX480-SV uses Samsung 0.4ns GDDR5 memory chip,the 12 chip formed 1.5GB 384Bit specifications.The theory of memory frequency up to 5000MHz, G-EmpireGTX480-SV default memory frequency is 4000MHz and higher than reference GTX480 default 3700MHz.
Memory power supply is two-phase and same with reference GTX480.The enhanced memory frequency can provide more memory bandwidth for the GTX480.
The card has 2DVI + miniHDMI, maximum resolution up to 2560 脳 1600.
