Intel to release high-end Celeron E3400

Intel will launch 32nm Clarkdale processors for mid or low-end market early next year.45nm Penryn CPUs still coexist.Celeron E3400 expects to be available on January,17th.

Compared to current E3200/E3300,Celeron E3400 clocks at 2.6GHz and 800MHz of FSB with 65W TDP.It features 1MB of L2 cache and supports VT.Celeron E3400 is priced at $53,the same as E3300.

Compared to Celeron 440 based on 65nm Conroe-L,new Celeron E3400 finishes the same task some 115 percent faster than the old Celeron 440 in聽DivX 6.7 and VirtualDub 1.7.2.

Celeron聽E3400 is 143 percent faster聽than Celeron 440聽in聽Itunes 8.2 Audio MP3 encoding tests.In Web photo resizing test using Windows Live Photo gallery, the new Celeron E3400 can do the task some 40 percent faster
