How to make money as an indie dev

Every self-respecting indie developer we know treasures their poverty, wearing it as a badge of honor not unlike those bohemian kids in Rent. But for you monsters that are just interested in a payday,

聽Jeff On Games has an interesting piece about how likely it is that you’ll be able to make a living solely as an indie developer (i.e. not very) and how best to achieve that lofty goal.

Unsurprisingly, the keystone to the whole thing is being able to make a quality title. But we’d add another important step to Jeff’s list: Capturing the heart of a blog and having it pimp your game in stories with only a threadbare connection to it.

On a completely related note, have you still not played Time Gentlemen, Please?
