Microsofts Zune HD gets quick photo shoot at D7

Officially announced a few days ago, Microsofts iPod touch-targeting Zune HD portable media player has made an appearance at the D7 conference and took the time to smile for the cameras present. Set to arrive this fall, the Zune HD packs a 3.3-inch OLED touchscreen which, as you can see below, seems pretty sharp, with the best thing about it is that it provides such vivid color while consuming less than an LCD (not to mention its thinner).

Microsoft has also worked on updating the Zune interface to make it HD-worthy but the full scoop on it will likely be revealed later on, maybe when the players hardware specs will be provided too. Until then we can say that the Zune HD is quite the looker. But it wont be enough to challenge the iPod.
